    poeticislam: When you pray, you are not just praying to anyone. You are standing to the All-Knowing, the All-Merciful, the Most-Kind. Don’t be disheartened by the dunya, pray as if your prayer is your last. Pray knowing that Allah (swt) is in front of you, and do not let your mind wander whilst knowing He is there, all you have to do is ask. Don’t let Shaytaan trick you, for you are bowing to the Almighty yet he still whispers to you. Nothing is more important then the moment you say ‘Allahuakbar’. The dunya does not matter in those moments, what matters is your relationship with Allah (swt). It’s as simple as that. Ask for forgiveness, ask for success, as for Jannah with humility and sincerity.
